AREA AGM 2005

The 2005 Annual General Meeting of the Wiltshire & Swindon area of the Ramblers' Association was held on Saturday 19th February 2005 at Urchfont Village Hall and was attended by 29 members.After the Chairman's address there was a discussion about the difficulties of persuading members to take on area posts.The formal business then took place during which the existing officers were re-elected..

After the interval for refreshments theChairman welcomed the guest speaker,Joanna Davidson-Watts, Access Project Officer for English Nature, who gave us a detailed and interesting talk on her role.There followed a short question and answer session before the meeting was closed.

After an interval for lunch in the Hall, Ron Wiltshire & Basil Damer led a very pleasent 5 1/2 mile walk.
