Chippenham Ramblers: Sunday June 13: Walkers enjoyed a sunny 7 1/2 mile
walk from Wadswick Country Store around Neston Park via Neston and
Atworth with views to Westbury White Horse, through field of ripening
wheat, barley and corn and past banks of summer flowers and orchids. We
were pleased with the reinstated cross-field paths in most areas
although some farmers had not been so considerate: and we could have
done without traversing electric fences in 3 places. The rain held off
until we were home.
