Kennet & Avon Canal Walk
 To
help celebrate 75 years of the Ramblers, the Wiltshire
Ramblers are working with the Berkshire Ramblers,
the Bath Ramblers, the
Bristol Ramblers,
British Waterways,
and the Kennet & Avon Canal
Trust - who celebrate their 200-year anniversary in 2010 -
to hold a 'pass the baton' relay walk along the length of the
canal - some 87 miles.
We intend incorporating short walks along the way i.e. 2 to 3 miles between bridges and exit points with party activities at the handover venues. We already have a great deal
of interest from local personalities who are eager to join us.
