Membership

The best things in life are free and walking is definitely one of them, but our work to protect your favourite footpaths, open spaces and landscapes is, unfortunately, not without cost. Members allow us to continue our work; by joining you invest in your walking pleasure and you really do make a difference.

Ways to Join

Categories and Costs

Category	Type	Cost	Description
Annual Membership	Individual	£31.00	Membership for one person.
	Joint	£41.00	Two adults living at the same address. Please provide both names.
	Individual Concessionary	£19.50	Concessionary rates are available for students, people on means tested benefits or solely reliant on the state pension. These rates do not apply to overseas members.
	Joint Concessionary	£25.50	Concessionary rates are available for students, people on means tested benefits or solely reliant on the state pension. These rates do not apply to overseas members.
Life Membership	Individual	£685	Life membership for individuals is £340 if the member is aged 60 or over.
Life Membership	Joint	£815	Life membership for two adults at the same address is £420 if both members are aged 60 or over.

Children (under 16) can have free junior membership cards on request. Please state how many cards you need and the name you would like on each card.

We aim to dispatch membership packs as quickly as possible, but please allow at least 10 days before querying.

Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Ramblers.

If you live outside Great Britain you are welcome to join the Ramblers at the same rates as those above, except that concessionary rates are not available. We accept Visa and MasterCard for overseas payments, but regret we cannot accept cheques unless they are in GB pounds and drawn on a UK bank.
