Brian led this walk to Stretton Sub-Castle, Old Sarum and Bishopsdown

We met outside the Boathouse Inn ....		... and occupied all the pavement.
Along the river near Waitrose...		...and across the river by the Leisure Cnetre.
We continued along the river bank.		On the Portway...
...waiting to go through a kissing gate.		A stone with a plaque.
Approaching Old Sarum.		Through a kissing gate.
What it once looked like.		We walked around the ramparts....
in a circle...		...until we reached our starting point.
Where we had coffee and...		..polite conversation
An aircraft took off once a minute.		But that didn't stop us...
...holding forth!		After the break, we returned via Bishopsdown.
The last lap took us across the Churchill Way.		Over a bridge that we usually drive under.
