FIRST YOUNG PERSON'S WALK.

23/06/02 Salisbury College to Clarendon.

The first walk organised specially for younger people (18-39) took place on Sunday 23rd June 2002. The small party walked along Southampton Road to Piggy Lane. Thence we walked the route of the Clarendon Way, pausing to admire the view from the view point near the top. There has been extensive clearance near the palace ruins in the recent past and the site is now very accessible. We walked a short way further in the direction of Pitton and then retraced our steps.
